Mr. Li studied with world renowned cellist Janos Starker and received his Master of Music degree from Indiana University in 1984. As assistant and principal cellist, Mr. Li worked with several Symphonies including Mississippi Symphony, Memphis Symphony, etc. Li was one of the founders of "Oxford Piano Trio" and the Baroque Trio "Heineken's Circle," and has given concerts all over the southeast United States and in Germany. Two of Mr Li's solo violincello albums were released by Hong Kong Audio Production INC. He started to teach at Yamaha Music School in 2003 where he began to focus on music education.
